Where we pick up.
And how fast we get there.

EasyCab covers every postcode in KT, TW9–TW12, SW15–SW18, and SM3–SM7, plus most of Surrey. Within our core zone we hold a four-to-eight-minute pickup, day or night. Outside it we say so clearly. No mystery boundaries, no "sorry, that's outside our area" fifteen seconds after you've booked.

The map

South of the river,
and well into Surrey.

A rough shape of where we operate. The Thames runs along the top of the zone, the M25 sits at the bottom, and the densest cab cover sits in the green core — Kingston, Richmond, Putney, Sutton — where we keep enough drivers within 3 km to hold a sub-8-minute pickup.

Six zones.
One honest map.

We split the coverage area into six working zones based on how many cabs we keep within a few kilometres of each high street. That density is what sets the pickup time — not your booking volume or the weather or what tier you signed up to. Pick your zone, see the postcodes, see the time we'll quote.

The pickup-time promise

If we say eight minutes,
we mean it.

The pickup time we quote isn't the average we hope to hit — it's the time the dispatcher is willing to pin to the booking. Here's exactly what happens when reality and the quote don't agree.

01

The fare is locked at the quote.

The price you saw when you booked is the price you pay, whether your driver is two minutes early or six minutes late. We don't bill for traffic we didn't warn you about.

02

5-minute slip = a call.

If a driver is going to be more than 5 minutes later than the quoted ETA, dispatch rings you before the car moves. You decide whether to wait, reassign, or cancel — no charge if you walk away.

03

15-minute slip = it's on us.

If a core-zone pickup slips 15 minutes past the quote and it's our fault (not traffic, not weather), the ride comes off the bill. We've done it twice in the last six months. Both times the driver still finished the trip.

04

You always see the driver.

The booking screen shows your driver's name, photo, plate and ETA in real time from the moment they accept. No more "where is my cab" panic — and no fake "your driver is approaching" loops while they're parked three streets over.

Beyond the zone

We drop off anywhere.

Pickups stay inside our coverage area because that's how we hold the eight-minute promise. But once you're in the cab, we'll take you anywhere on the British mainland — including the long, well-priced runs to other UK cities that come in handy on a train-strike Friday.

What's next

Where we're going next.

We don't bolt on new postcodes for the SEO of it. A new zone goes live when we have enough drivers living inside it to hold the same pickup-time promise we hold today. Here's what's in motion.

Live

SM3 & SM5 — now core.

Worcester Park and Carshalton joined the core zone in March 2026. Pickup times in those two postcodes dropped from 11 minutes to under 7 inside six weeks, once we'd recruited two long-time Sutton drivers full-time.

Promoted to core March 2026
Joining soon

Walton-on-Thames & Weybridge

KT12 and KT13. We've been quoting on request for the last year — enough demand to justify two dedicated drivers. Targeting full launch with sub-12-minute pickup before the summer.

Going live July 2026
On the watchlist

Woking & Guildford ring

GU postcodes are doable by quote today but not yet covered by the meter. We need three or four more drivers based west of the M25 before we can promise a guaranteed pickup time. Conversations underway with two.

Earliest late 2026
On the watchlist

Croydon edge — CR0

Our Streatham zone already touches the South Norwood and Thornton Heath boundary. We won't promise CR0 properly until we can match the pickup times we hold on the SW16 side. Bumpy bus routes don't help.

The Hounslow corridor

TW3, TW4 and TW5. Heathrow runs already go through it daily. We could pick up there if local demand justifies it — drop us a note via the booking form if your office or home sits in this corridor.

Not on the roadmap

Central or East London

For pickups, no. Eleven years of staying close to our Whitechapel garage and our SW London drivers' homes is what makes the eight-minute promise honest. We won't dilute that. Drop-offs into Zone 1 stay routine.

Coverage FAQ

The questions postcodes ask.

Six questions we hear from people checking whether we cover their street. If yours isn't here, the booking form is the fastest answer — type the postcode and it'll tell you in under a second.

Do you cover my postcode?
We cover every postcode in KT (Kingston), TW9–TW12 (Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton), SW15–SW18 (Putney, Wandsworth, Tooting), SW16 (Streatham) and SM3–SM7 (Morden, Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington, Banstead), plus most of Surrey on quote. If you're not sure, type your postcode at easycab.org/book — the booking form tells you instantly whether we'll pick up and what the ETA is.
How fast can a cab reach me?
Core zones (KT1–KT6, TW9–TW11, SW15, SM3–SM5) get a cab within 4–8 minutes day or night. Standard zones (TW12, SW16, SW17, SW18, SM1, SM2, SM6, SM7) average 8–12 minutes. Outer zones (KT17–KT24, Surrey villages) take 12–18 minutes. If your driver is going to be more than 5 minutes later than the quoted ETA, dispatch calls you before the car even moves.
Can EasyCab drop me anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Pickups are from our coverage area, but drop-offs go anywhere on the mainland. Common long-distance routes — Brighton, Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester — have published flat fares; see long distance for the table. Anything off-list is quoted on request.
Do you charge more for outer zones?
No. The meter is the meter — base fare plus distance plus time, same rate whether you're in Kingston town centre or out near Leatherhead. The only thing that differs by zone is the time the cab takes to reach you, and we tell you that up front. See pricing for the full meter logic.
Will you ever expand into central London or east London for pickups?
Drop-offs there are routine — pickups outside our core area aren't, by design. Eleven years of staying close to our garage in Whitechapel and our drivers' homes in SW London is what lets us promise sub-eight-minute pickups. If we get to a point where we can hold that promise further out, we'll publish it on this page first.
Which airports do you serve from this coverage area?
All five London airports — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, and London City — with fixed fares from every postcode in our zone. See airport transfers for the full price table and what's included (flight tracking, meet & greet, 60 minutes of free wait time at arrivals).
What if my pickup is just outside your zone?
Call dispatch on 020 0000 0000 and ask. We handle borderline postcodes by hand — sometimes the answer is "yes, fifteen-minute pickup," sometimes it's a fixed-fee from a nearby zone. Either way we'll quote a real number before the cab leaves. We don't accept and then cancel.
